Job Description

The HR Officer (Project Management) is an integral member of the Recruitment Section and is responsible for coordinating HR projects of varying nature. Reporting directly to the Department / Section Heads, the HR Officer provides high level support across a broad range of HR functions and responsibilities including directing, organizing and controlling project activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Researches HR issues, develop options and solutions and draft proposals, business cases and policies as required
  • Supports the scoping of projects, documentation of project plans and the establishment of project teams
  • Contributes to the roll-out of projects, monitor progress and facilitate or lead aspects of implementation as assigned
  • Responsible for coordination of HR market benchmarking activities, collation of data and timely submissions
  • Carries out project tasks as delegated including writing, reviewing or editing of documentation
  • Keeps Supervisors informed about project status and issues that may impact HR service delivery or project outcomes
  • Other ad hoc duties consistent with the position as requested by Supervisors 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or above in Human Resources Management, Project Management or related disciplines
  • At least 2 years’ experience in HR project management with strong knowledge in general HR practices
  • Proactive individual who is enthusiastic, committed, flexible and adaptable to fast pace environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and the use of databases and HR systems
  • Good command of spoken & written English and Cantonese
