Job Description
Title: Senior Finance Manager (Type 1,4,9 SFC Business)
Location: Central, Hong Kong
Our client is a leading Private Equity / Asset = Investment Management firm head quartered in HK.
As part of its growth, it is looking to bring a talented and keen individual to assist the Finance and Operations/ HR functions in a generalist finance -operations role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ambition and self-drive.
This PE firm invests in multiple innovative businesses and sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Group finance planning and cash flow management and forecasting
- Support in annual audits and regulatory filings;
- Review and supervise general accounting duties of accounting team
- Manage Fee collections and payments;
- Manage relationships with external professional parties/service providers, including auditors, bankers and SFC officers etc.
- Perform HR functions including process payroll, setting the office rules/ employment contract/human resource policy/Performance review/ Recruitment
- Perform Company Secretary Functions including preparing minutes, annual returns and other forms filing;
- Act as MLRO and Compliance Officer for AML/CFT
- Manage compliance matters of group’s SFC Type 1,4,9 licensed corp. with compliance outsource
- Review Client account opening and KYC;
- Review and update compliance policies and procedures;
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above.
- Member of HKICPA or similar accounting equivalent qualification
- Around minimum 5 years’ experience in finance industry corporations / SFC licensed corporation is preferred.
- Well organized with excellent multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Good command of written Chinese and English
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Good command of spoken Cantonese and Mandarin, Chinese and English
- Salary 50,000 – 60,000 / month plus bonus and benefits
