Job Description

Location: Sheung Wan

 Roles & responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement human resources initiatives to cope with the changing service needs, labour market and statutory requirements of the employment related ordinances;
  • review the pay and recruitment policies to enhance competitiveness for acquisition of talents; 
  • review the HR policies and administration practices to streamline and align the organizational practices;
  • manage the assigned staff discipline and complaint/dispute cases/issues;
  • undertake ad-hoc projects/tasks in collaboration with the relevant parties to meet the corporate objectives in human resources management;
  • co-ordinate cross-units regular/annual exercises and compile final returns with recommendations for endorsement by the management; and
  • handle personnel-related issues to maintain good employment relations. 

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • a recognized degree or equivalent preferably in human resources management;
  • Grade D or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • at least 4 years’ post-qualification administrative experience; and
  • preferably knowledge and experience in developing and operating human resources information systems.

 Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.  The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.

 Vaccine Pass requirements:

Job applicant (if appointed) will be required to enter or work in specific/other applicable premises under the Vaccine Pass and fulfill the Vaccine Pass requirements in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and as stipulated by the Hospital Authority/Education Bureau/Social Welfare Department/other authorities at any point of time during the course of employment.
