Job Description

Key Responsibilities

ESF is looking for a Project Officer to support its engagement priorities, particularly in the area of DEI. The successful applicant will provide technical and administrative assistance in the planning, coordination and reporting of ESF’s DEI agenda.

The Project Officer will become part of the Strategic Performance and Quality Assurance team, with reporting function to the Engagement Manager at the ESF Centre who serves as DEI Lead for the Foundation.

Key Duties:

  • Supports the continuing action planning process for the DEI agenda, in consideration of insights and feedback generated from broader stakeholder engagement
  • Assists in coordinating the different DEI goals, targets and activities based on timelines outlined in the action planning
  • Explores and maintains an effective system for recording, managing, monitoring and evaluating of data and information on the progress of the DEI agenda, including across its 22 schools
  • Prepares reports, surveys, documentation, presentations and minutes, and liaises with external organisations for the publication and/or production of related materials   
  • Supports the development and administration of project proposals and the team’s overall engagement priority aimed at improving the lived experience of the members of the ESF community

Key Attributes:

  • Degree holder in any field, with at least three (3) years of relevant experience in project support and administration; preferably with knowledge of DEI and experience in DEI work
  • Thrives in a multicultural setting and enjoys working on new initiatives with people from different backgrounds
  • Passionate about tracking the progress of plans and analysing the difference it makes in the organisation
  • Confident in communicating ideas, plans and narratives to different audiences using various formats
