The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Database Intelligence Department.

Responsibilities:

• To assist data steward in DI department to check and verify customer records created and updated
• To liaise with front line departments in Hong Kong and overseas offices for update of customer information
• To update customer records in the Customer Database per request from front line departments in Hong Kong and overseas offices
• To resolve problems related to update of customer records in the Customer Database
• To review and housekeeping customer records regularly to enhance integrity of Customer Database

Requirements:

• Post-secondary / tertiary education in business studies
• 1-2 year(s) working experience, preferably with experience in handling customer data in customer database
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese.  Knowledge of Putonghua and simplified Chinese an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word-processing
• Mature, attention to details, and able to work independently

Contract period

• 6-months contract from 1 October 2022 to 31 March 2023, renewable

Work location

• Tseung Kwan O (TKO) office

Remuneration and Benefits: 

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
