Job Description
The to-be-built CityU Campus in Dongguan of Guangdong Province (CityU (DG)) will be a multilateral and interdisciplinary platform to strengthen collaborations in education, research, technology transfer, and innovation in the Greater Bay Area. CityU (DG)’s academic standards will be consistent with those at CityU.
DutiesThe appointee will assist in matters related to academic planning and development of CityU (Dongguan) (CityU (DG)). Main duties include to:
- Provide support in preparation and translation of academic planning related proposals, policies, guidelines and publications;
- Liaise with academic and administrative units both in CityU and CityU (DG);
- Assist in data collection, analysis and processing of academic planning related research;
- Assist in preparing presentation, promotion materials, and compilation of reports; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor’s degree or above in Translations/Language/Literature or related disciplines. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) is a must. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; good interpersonal skills with strong abilities to manage multiple tasks, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under tight schedules are required.
