Our client is a Biotech company with offices established in Hong Kong and Shanghai.  Their Hong Kong head office is now looking for an experienced Head of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for spearheading and implementing operations in support of the company’s strategic and business growth for China, Hong Kong and Internationally
• Working closely with the CEO and other team members to ensure successful implementation of various functions; including operational infrastructure, strategic plan, team building, and development
• Oversee all operations activities and provide leadership to transition the company’s medical device to commercialization
• Improve operational efficiencies by establishing operational policies, processes and procedures; including IT systems, resources allocation processes and Logistics process
• A hands-on individual who is interested in making a difference in a dynamic and existing entrepreneurial environment

• Degree holder with major in Science or other related disciplines
• Minimum of 15 years of operational working experience
• Prior experience in Biomedical engineering or medical device industry would be a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proven track record in working independently and a good team leader
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills as well as can be efficiently and effectively working in a commercial environment
• A responsible, proactive and efficient professional able to work under pressure
• With can-do attitude and multi-tasking skills
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese, Putonghua and English
