The Role

Associate, Fixed Income, Business Operations 

Key Accountabilities

• Perform trade input, prepare trade confirmation and fixing event for Fixed Income products and OTC Derivative products;
• Prepare settlement instructions to CMU & Clearstream, monitor the settlement status and liaise with relevant parties to avoid settlement failure;
• HKTR reporting;
• Coordinate with front office, middle office and other operations processing teams if and clients queries/ problem;
• Prepare Monthly MIS and reporting;
• Review current manual process and coordinate with Changes/ TT to enchance or streamline process as appropriate;
• Assist line manager in completing assigned tasks, including but not limited to new product review, audit/ regulatory inspection, project work etc.

Skills & Experience

• Degree holder with 2-5 years or above relevant experience;
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization;
• Attention to detail and accuracy on numerical calculations;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task, and consistently meet deadlines;
• Strong analytical and computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge in VBA is a definite advantage;
• Good spoken and written Chinese and English, including Mandarin.
