Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Colleague Branding
    • Deliver our Colleague Quality Experiences (CQEs) to position Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as an employer of choice who treasures our colleagues as much as our delightful guests.
    • Design and implement colleague programs to increase awareness of the brand and to attract talent.
  • Colleague Engagement
    • Develop and implement colleague engagement programmes to boost colleague morale and commitment and support a positive working environment.
    • Drive all initiatives that support the Colleague Engagement survey, partnering with Director of Human Resources to provide direction and manage project deliverables.
    • Analyse results and partner with EXCO to improve scores and further enhance employee engagement.
  • Colleague Communications
    • Manage MyMO in regard to account management and driving colleague communication.
    • Ensure the tidiness and awareness of the colleague notice board & My MO and maintain the information are up to date.
    • Manage Bi-weekly HR Newsletter.
    • Assist preparation of Monthly Celebrating Success.
  • Colleague Concierge
    • Promote and champion transparency.
    • Welcome and encourage colleagues to come forward and participate the business.
  • Colleague Activities
    • Plan, organize and execute colleague relations and wellness programs and recreation activities to attract, motivate, engage and retain colleagues, e.g. annual colleagues party, CSR activities, Long Service Award presentation.
    • Prepare and control colleague events budget and expenditures and ensuring cost effectiveness in each event.

Requirements:

  • University graduate with a degree preferably in HR Management or Marketing or a related discipline;
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in internal communications (printed & digital), event management or employee engagements;
  • Excellent interpersonal skill, presentable and a flexible team player;
  • Strong influencing and project management skills;
  • Pro-active, independent, result driven and creative thinker;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
