Job Description

THE GIG

As a functional expert, you will lead all things talent. Providing recruitment solutions, you will be the go-to for hiring managers. You will be a brand ambassador both internally and externally, ensuring both candidates and hiring managers receive “white glove” experiences.

You will lead by example amongst the wider team, inspiring and mentoring/coaching other members. You will be involved in delivering global projects, you will help create processes and plans whilst implementing change, to ensure we are always up to date with trends and have a positive EVP.

  • Managing the full end to end recruitment processes
  • Make recommendations and support the HR Leads and hiring managers on attraction methods, tailored assessment tools and techniques
  • Build rapport and excellent relationships with hiring managers, HR Leads, the wider HR team
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor activity
  • May lead project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives
  • Source, recruit, screen, interview, recommend external and / or internal candidates for all level roles
  • Ensure onboarding methods are used so candidates settle well; including regular check ins
  • Keep track and report on recruitment performance and recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
  • Participate in job fairs and career events to showcase DM’s employer brand and attract top talent
  • Work closely with hiring managers within your area to understand role needs and team cultures
  • Keep on top of industry recruitment trends and coming up with new ways of attracting talent
  • Reviewing and measuring our successes to ensure we achieve our own recruitment KPI’s and continuous improvement

Dr. Martens is looking for an experienced HR leader with the requisite technical competencies, breadth of experience, record of accomplishment, leadership and personal impact to ensure you can set and drive the strategic people agenda and effectively manage all the key stakeholders.

  • You will have hands-on experience in a recruitment environment, agency, or in-house
  • You are up to date with all current recruitment methods and processes with expertise using social media tools including LinkedIn to generate talent pools
  • You communicate clearly. You can change your style to suit the audience.
  • You are service and relationship-driven to ensure the Talent Acquisition team shows up in excellence to the business and the marketplace
  • Your exceptional organisational skills mean that dealing with multiple priorities is trouble-free and you’re consistently tracking progress and reporting the status of projects to keep everyone informed and on track and you pay attention to detail
  • This is a role that will require relationship building and being visible to your stakeholders
