Job Description
We are looking for ONE Administrative Executives to serve a public organization client. The officers will assist with the promotion of an ordinance (e.g. preparing PPT presentation files, drafting newsletters and answering enquiries with proper manner), and provide back-end support for an ordinance (e.g. organizing talks, handling and processing data analysis). Fluent Cantonese, English and Putonghua speaking and writing ability is a must. Candidates outside Hong Kong, or those with no fluent Cantonese/ Chinese capabilities need not apply.
Job Duties:
To assist in publicity work to promote a safety related ordinance in Hong Kong, including assistance in planning and arranging promotional materials, keeping record of publicity projects, drafting letters to consultants and contractors, handling and processing data analysis, and arranging the logistics of public and trade seminars.
To plan and liaise with contractors and stakeholders pro-actively with regard to the ordinance, and be an assistant to the engineers for some activities/ events (in English, Cantonese and Putonghua).
Qualifications and Requirements:
University graduate with a recognised degree. Candidates with science or engineering background and/ or academic qualifications in environmental science and mechanical engineering will be an added advantage.
At least 1 year relevant working experience. Candidates with less experience/ qualifications may apply for the post of Publicity Assistant.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua that is sufficiently fluent for making phone calls to stakeholders).
Have hands-on working knowledge of office automation software application systems, including Chinese and English word-processing, database processing, as well as spreadsheet and presentation applications.
Have good work ethics including consistent punctuality, a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, the ability to plan and implement and follow-up things thoroughly, and the ability to work professionally and independently with minimum supervision.
The office is in Kowloon Bay but occasional work outside the office may be necessary. Office hours are from 8:15 am to 5:45 pm for Mondays to Fridays.
