HK Industrial Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Centre (FLAIR)

The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the RWTH Aachen Campus from Germany join forces to establish the Hong Kong Industrial Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Centre (FLAIR). Located at the Hong Kong Science Park, FLAIR is part of [email protected], which is one of the two world-class research clusters being established by InnoHK Clusters of the HKSAR Government, to support Hong Kong in developing into an international innovation & technology hub.

As the sole founder, HKPC will work together with RWTH Aachen Campus, the major collaborator of FLAIR, by bundling their strengths and repertoire of resources in technical expertise, networks, innovation and patents etc. to set up the FLAIR and support its operation.

What you'll do: 
  • Provide full-fledged HR services for HK Industrial Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Centre (FLAIR), including talent acquisition, manpower planning, talent development, performance management, employee engagement, payroll and operations, management reporting etc.
  • Develop new sources / channels to identify and recruit research and technical talents from local and overseas
  • Formulate and implement HR and administration policies and programmes aligned with corporate directions, and introduce best practices
  • Liaise with the stakeholders on HR and administrative issues, and support the team to meeting the requirements of government authorities and undertake follow-up actions
  • Perform administrative duties and housekeeping matters
  • Act as HR People Partner to handle the HR operations of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Division and Technology Development Unit of HKPC 
  • Dual report to functional head and business management

You'll be a good fit if you have/are: 

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or business related disciplines or equivalent
  • 8 years or more relevant and hands-on experience of full HR functions; Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager, Human Resources 
  • Solid experience in talent acquisition in sizable corporations preferred
  • Experience in engineering organizations or research institutions preferred
  • Good knowledge and application of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance
