Duties:

Research Assistant: the appointee will be responsible to assist various tasks for the research projects. Tasks include: (a) conducting literature review; (b) collecting and data analyzing; (c) preparing reports; (d) writing and contributing to publications; (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Research Fellow / Research Associate: the appointee will be responsible various tasks for the research projects. Tasks include: (a) coordinating research design, (b) liaising with industrial parties and institutions; (c) organizing seminars and workshops; (d) overseeing data collection, analysis and management; (e) writing academic publications and reports; (f) editing book series, newsletter and journal; (g) teaching courses in the humanities; (h) performing other duties as assigned.

Appointment Criteria:

Research Assistant: Applicants should have a) a bachelor's degree or master’s degree in relevant fields; b) familiarity with database management tools (such as SQL, MS Access, etc.); (c) knowledge of programming tools (such as Python and C++) would be a plus; d) have good communication skills and sense of responsibility.

Research Associate / Research Fellow: Applicants should have a) a doctoral degree in the humanities, computer science or other related disciplines; b) strong background in research methodology; (c) able to work independently; d) proficiency in writing and speaking in English and Chinese; (e) have good communication and presentation skills.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
