Chicks (雞仔嘜) is a renowned home-grown thermal / innerwear brand in Hong Kong. We are looking for a product development senior merchandiser / manager to help us identify and provide the right products to our target markets in the Greater Bay Area cities such as Macau, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, etc. As start of our development, Macau will be our first target market, as we believe we are a known brand to Macau and with Macau also being a window to China market, we would like to start from there and further expand to other regions.
Responsibilities:
• Share market trending insights and drive development of new products suited for our target customers
• Identify suitable consignment products to be carried under Chicks
• Monitor inventory and adjust delivery schedules with vendors to control inventory
• Full merchandising duties from development until delivery completion
• Follow up orders with vendors, factories and internal parties to meet quality, budget and on-time delivery
• Responsible for costing negotiation and control with vendors
• Maintain collaborative relationships with vendors for product development and production
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience. Fashion retailing experience is preferable
• Detail oriented, strong analytical sense and able to perform multi-tasks
• Hardworking and self motivated
• Strong in both written English and Chinese
