Job Description:

Work with the People Advisors Team to support problem-solving and change opportunities as required such as organization development and employee relation issues. This role fosters and supports a positive, employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, engagement and performance success.

  • Provide guidance and support to the business and ensure an effective and consistent experience with policies, workflow and practices.
  • Ensure high quality execution of transactional Workday/People Operations experiences for employees and managers
  • Manage onboarding activities and point of contact for managers and employees.
  • Support HR Advisors Team during annual cyclical activities including compensation and performance reviews
  • Support immigration cases and matters with employees and the business.
  • Awareness and understanding of the strengths of Dow Jones’  People Centers of Excellence to ensure full service support to the business units.
  • Understand and cultivate the internal culture, values, mission and vision.
  • Awareness of tools and insights from our Community of Experts to help develop the workforce and build careers.
  • Manage analytics to measure the effectiveness of human capital practices and use this information in decision-making.

Qualifications include:

  • 3-5 years Human Resources experience including operational and business partnering delivery.
  • Problem solver and agile learner
  • The ability to work with multiple constituents and to drive positive changes in a collaborative, convincing manner and the ability to manage client expectations effectively. 
  • Comfortable working with HR systems including Workday, information and data collection and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with labor relations with strong knowledge in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including collaboration, coaching and counseling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
