Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Handle client onboarding cases, where liaison/ follow up with customers/ relationship managers for KYC due diligence information is needed
- Conduct CDD process for periodic review and trigger event review
- Conduct name screening (SAS) for client on boarding, periodic review and trigger event review
- Understand and comply with the standards and procedures set out, as well as relevant local regulatory requirements (including in respect of AML/CFT/KYC, tax, sanctions and embargoes matters)
- Collaborate with compliance teams in the completion of the KYC Record
- Handle account maintenance tasks for existing customers
- Take ownership of individual alert cases using appropriate case management tools and techniques to progress in order to meet timescales for alert investigation process
- Assist any ad-hoc duties and UAT assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- University Degree or above in Business Administration or related disciplines
- 1-3 years of working experience in financial institutions with exposure to compliance, client onboarding or KYC/CDD
- Flexible attitude to work and ability to think outside the box
- Mature, self-motivated, able to work independently & under pressure, and willing to accept challenges
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and problem solving skills
- Possess good awareness of operation risk and sensitive to operation irregularity
- Proficient in PC applications including Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese typewriting is a must
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
