We are looking for a high caliber finance professional to join the Development Team under Trading Department of HKEX’s Operations Division, to help us on challenging and strategically important initiatives relevant to trading securities products for both Hong Kong market and Stock Connect. Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing the trading platform strategy for growing both the HK securities market and Stock Connect market
• Act as a business analyst to identify the business needs, design and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Drive strategic projects throughout different stages of projects, from requirement gathering and documentation, user acceptance test (UAT) to post release market monitoring
• Supervise an offshore test team and ensure the integrity of UAT
• Collaborate closely with other departments and IT teams to oversee major project execution
• Analyse market trends and derive business insights from big data analytics

Job Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Finance/ Computer Science/ Mathematics / Statistics or related disciplines
• 7+ years relevant experience in well-established financial institutions. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Associate
• Self-motivated with strong interest in securities market
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams, able to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams
• Familiar with commonly used project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Scrum
• Well-organized, attentive to details, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Conversant with MS Office products (proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must)
• Experience in Bloomberg, FactSet, WIND, Python, SQL, Tableau/PowerBI is an advantage
