Finance Office


Responsibilities

Reporting to Project Manager, the incumbents are expected to:

1. Assist PM in overall project management, business analysis, process re-engineering/ streamlining, workflow design, and monitoring project scope and resources to meet project schedule and budget. particularly in;
2. Work closely and communicate with various stakeholders including business users, operations, internal audit, vendor, etc. to ensure effective project governance
3. Support PM in managing all identified issues and potential risks on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required
4. Participate in the following accounting areas: (i) Procurement and Accounts Payable; (ii) Accounts Receivable and General Ledger; and  (iii) Reporting and Business Analyses so as to provide support to PM in requirement collection, project planning, scheduling, vendor management, system integration tests, user acceptance test, and launch planning work;
5. Assist PM in preparing training material and provide end user training
6. Perform committee secretary duties for Project Assurance Committee
7. Undertake other duties as assigned by PM/ supervisor

Requirements

1. University graduates in IT, Business, and/or Accounting with no less than 4 years of working experience in commercial, government and/ or non-government organizations
2. Good experience in system development life-cycle (user requirements analysis, manage development and testing, implementation & change management, etc.) coupled with thorough accounting knowledge. Experience in project management methodologies is an advantage
3. Sound knowledge and understanding of Oracle J D Edwards Enterprise One system is definitely an advantage
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
5. Strong business acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, good sense of urgency, independent but able to work with people of different levels and teams; self-motivated, detail- and deadline-oriented, and innovative
6. Possess a can-do and rolled-up the sleeves spirit and have a passion to work for a charitable organization
7. Immediate availability is an advantagee

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
