Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide compressive financial management information, revenue/ costs analysis for bank’s performance and business units.
- Prepare EXCO pack, performance analysis reports and presentation decks for management review.
- Provide comprehensive financial management information to support business.
- Monitor financial budget and forecast.
- Participate in management accounting and system enhancement related projects.
- Streamline production process to improve existing processes.
- Ensure the compliance of internal policies, including but not limited to accounting policies/fund transfer pricing (FTP) policy/costs management policy/shadow income policy.
- Prepare Financial Risks Monthly Report to Risk Council.
- Comply with internal and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Qualified Accountant with minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in banking industry with at least 5 years of management reporting and regulatory reporting experience
- Possess professional accounting qualification (Member of HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent professional bodies)
- Experience in banking budget and forecast model development
- Strong inter-personal skill and analytical skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
- Conversant with MS Office applications, preferably with knowledge of VBA
