Team Description
The Equity Sales team works with a variety of clients, including individual and institutional clients, that use IPO/SPAC/PIPE/PE/derivatives and other structured solutions to achieve their investment objectives.
Within the broader Equity Sales team, the IPO/SPAC/PIPE/PE/Structured Institutional Derivatives Sales Team covers a wide range of investors across the globe with a specific focus on Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Private Equity Funds, and Insurance Companies.
The team is focused on providing multiple layers of equities coverage to our institutional and individual clients, including IPO, SPAC, PIPE, PE, equity swaps, vanilla and exotic options, systematic trading strategies, and various outperformance solutions depending on the client’s diverse needs.
The Equity Sales team is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic candidate to join our Hong Kong office .

Key Responsibilities
- Distribute best-in-class ideas and solutions to our individual and institutional clients , specifically Private Bank, Wealth Funds, Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Private Equity Funds, Insurance Companies, and financial service providers(SFC licencesT1,T4,T9).
- Help identify new business opportunities and originate new client relationships with a strategic and long-term view
- Grow and maintain existing client relationships
- Provide general support to the team by servicing client requests, working closely with New York, Boston, Shenzhen office on a wide array of equity and custom solutions, managing internal workflow post-trade with Operations, Ninth Eternity Securities LLC, Ninth Eternity Asset Management LLC and JJ Sponsor Group LLC.
- Analyze and back-test trade ideas to deliver bespoke content to clients
Basic Qualifications

- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, hold SFC licences T1,T4
- Client-focused with strategic, long term mind-set
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid work ethics and high levels of motivation
- Strong technical and mathematical skills as well as an advanced level of proficiency in using pricing tools for derivatives
- Hard working with strong willingness to learn
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong team player
- Commercially-minded
- Working knowledge and interest in global financial markets.
