Onsite with HSBC – Business Analyst, Markets Treasury IT

 We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join the HSBC.

Title: Business Analyst, Markets Treasury IT, onsite with HSBC

Position type: Contract

Responsible For:

Scope of Work

• Work with MKTY OSA stakeholders to determine data capture needs and required tooling to support data consolidation, data mining and analysis.
• Work with IT SMEs to define data capture solution, storage, data modelling, data mining and data comparison needs
• Conduct/Assist in system testing cycles including SIT, UAT, with MKTY OSA user to ensure new tooling and functionality means the teams needs
• Review of test defects and their prioritisation.
• Help with system Go-Live, end user training and Support.
• Provide production support and deliver bug fixes to production.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Strong understanding of Treasury business, specifically trading, risk management and Banking Book knowledge is a beneficial.
• Project Management and Business analysis experience in delivering medium-sized project from inception through requirements gathering, design, build, test and delivery is a must
• Project Management and Business analysis experience of trading or pricing platforms supporting Fixed Income product set including Bond, Swaps, Repos, Money Markets is a beneficial.
• Experience in managing relationships with senior Front Office stakeholders
• Comfort with explaining, discussing and documenting business process to both stakeholders from other asset classes and IT developers.
• Experience identifying and documenting requirements and subsequent solution design for intra-departmental technology platforms which Markets Treasury IT use.
• Highly literate, with the ability to distil complex business concepts into simple language
• Highly articulate, with excellent communication skills
• Self-starter, with a desire to own a problem until successful solution is found
• Flexible and pragmatic attitude to problem solving
• Focused on working with colleagues to deliver effective, business-focused solutions

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTS

• Experience in working with onshore and offshore development and test teams
• Experience working in a global, matrix environment with remote development teams
• Experience supporting project delivery in a complex, joint-venture style programme structure
• Comfortable operating in an agile environment
• Strategic thinker, comfortable developing future state high-level Business and Technology Architectures
