Job Description

Based in Hong Kong's CBD, you will perform an indispensable KYC position at a prestigious private bank with an incredible international reputation.

Currently seeking a KYC officer on an initially one year - renewable contract with good benefits and completion bonus. There is also a chance to convert to permanent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in new account opening, periodic CDD reviews, trigger event CDD reviews of existing accounts and name screening KYC/AML activities
  • Plan and deliver KYC/AML related projects and support associated technology initiatives
  • Ensure that KYC/AML procedures, processes and systems have robust controls and support a positive customer and employee journey.
  • Support KYC review, internal audit and regulatory inspections.
  • Act as deputy of KYC/AML
  • Be the primary point of contact with front office, middle office, internal audit, compliance and other risk & control functions on KYC/AML matters
  • Coach junior KYC/AML staff.

Key Skills

  • 2 - 6 years of KYC/AML experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management.
  • Strong understanding in financial products, policies and procedures ideally in private banking.
  • Experience in remediation project and process improvement will be advantageous.
  • A personable team leader and team player
  • Superb project management skills
  • Good English and Chinese
