We have a great new entry-level role to join the Transaction Services team, this role sits under the Issuer Services team. This is an opportunity to join us on an exciting career path at Computershare, learn from the best and work with individuals that are passionate in what they do.

This role will be perfect for fresh graduates or experienced individuals who want to make a career switch and join a Share Registry. This position will be based in our offices in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.

A role you will love

In this position, you will be proactively interacting with external parties, our shareholders and half of your role will encompass communicating with them in resolving problems and ensuring the processing information are genuine and accurate. In addition, you will be responsible to support workflow processes and to issue acknowledge letters. Your role is key in the recovery exercises and essential in the keeping the internal shareholder database updated.

As an Assistant Officer, you will also work collaboratively internally, comply with all application operational procedures and to report any potential risks and suspicious transactions to your line manager immediately. There will be opportunities to learn and grow in this role and to support other teams should this be required.

What will you bring to the role?   

You will have excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese and enjoy speaking with individuals on the phone. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate. In addition, you will have the passion to continuously learn in the role and have a solutions-driven mindset.

You are a fresh graduate holding an Associate Degree or someone with some working experience who wants to switch industries and join a Share Registrar! You will be comfortable working collaboratively within the team whilst being fairly independent. A basic understanding of MS Office applications such as Word and Excel are required, and it would be a bonus if you bring Chinese word processing skills.
