A reputable investment banking and securities firm is currently looking for a Equity Settlement Associate to join their expanding business.

Our client is a multinational financial services company based in Asia. They provide services including wealth of financial products and services covering regional brokerage, sales, trading, research, corporate finance, ECM, DCM and M&A advisory.

Description

• Handle daily settlement operations including HK and US securities, Stock Connect
• Handle cash management, nostro and depot breaks related with funding trades and pre-funding
• Arrange Stock borrowing to cover the potential Buy-in of Australia, HK, Singapore & U.S trades to minimize the market risks
• Ensure the trades matched with counterparties in a daily basis
• Cash Management related with funding trades and pre-funding in specific circumstances
• Timely resolution of nostro and depot breaks
• Participate in system enhancement and process improvement projects

Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Equities settlement
• Knowledge of CCASS, HKEX Client Connect, Swift, Straight2Bank etc
• Strong knowledge of with Investor ID markets in Asia, SBL, FX and Equity derivative would be advantageous
