Responsibilities:

• Oversee the legal function to maintain sound control on internal procedures and ensure the company’s operations are in accordance with regulations, guidelines, internal policies, and procedures.
• Provide legal advice to the Group on current and new business initiatives for mitigating compliance risks.
• Review, draft and negotiate agreements, legal documents, and correspondences.
• Participate in various investment-related projects and review transaction agreements or fund documents.
• Familiar with SFC’s and MSO’s rules, regulations, and compliance policies.

 Requirements:

• Degree or above in Law, Banking or equivalent.
• A minimum of 6 years' experience in the legal field, with at least 2 years' relevant experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge in Securities and Futures Ordinance, financial services and products is preferred.
• Strong legal and analytical skill with good business sense.
• Responsible, independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure, Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua preferable.
