Job Description

The Sustainable Finance Internship Initiative (the Initiative) is launched under the Green and Sustainable Finance Cross-Agency Steering Group (Steering Group), of which IA is a member. The Initiative aims to create more green and sustainable finance internship opportunities for students in Hong Kong, as part of a collaborative effort to nurture talents and build capability for the industry. The Steering Group will provide interns with training on sustainable finance policies and market development trends in Hong Kong.

The Winter Sustainable Finance Internship Programme (the Programme) is a full-time paid internship for approximately 1 to 2 months starting in or around December 2022. Interns will be coached to gain practical work experience, and develop new skills to expand their career possibilities. All interns will follow two tracks of learning: in-depth learning and skillset relevant to their role and a broad breadth of knowledge of IA’s operations. Interns will also participate in projects undertaken by the IA.

Requirements
  • Year 2 or 3 of Undergraduate programme, or students enrolled in Master’s Degree courses, majoring in finance and banking, insurance, economics, laws, accounting, business administration, actuarial science, environmental science, engineering, green and sustainability, or related discipline.
  • Good academic results
  • Passionate about providing service and learning on-the-job
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated and a team player
  • Well-versed in computer applications including MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Remuneration Package
