This well-reputed European private bank is looking for a talent in IT & Operational Risk Management to support the team due to great success in their business last year. You will be joining a team of 4 with great exposure and great worklife balance provided.

job scope.
As the AVP, IT & Operational Risk in a Well-Reputed Foreign Private Bank, your key responsibility will be to:

• Act as second line of defence (2LOD) to ensure compliance and implementation of Group’s risk management policies, focusing on IT risk management
• Implement independent assessments in relations to new IT initiatives, ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements before implementation
• Work with Technology department to ensure an effective IT risk management framework
• Assist senior management to establish and review appropriateness of local risk appetites and Key Risk Indicators (“KRIs”) periodically
• Coordinate and review Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) conducted by Key Risk Owners
• Review exceptions (e.g. KRI exceeding thresholds), work with Key Risk Owners to ensure appropriate actions are taken
• Responsible for perational incidents investigation and documentation, ensure appropriate remediation actions are promptly taken
• Support IT-related outsourcing risk management and risk-related reporting to senior management
• Approve and periodic review of system entitlements and data access, provision of support in terms of information security

requirements.

• Degree holder in information technology / finance related fields with at least 5 years private banking experience, preferably Operational Risk Management, or IT risk management, IT audit, IT risk consulting, etc
• With IT risk-related professional certification, e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), etc.
• Awareness of key/ IT risks in private banking
• Familiar with Hong Kong regulatory requirements (e.g. risk-related HKMA Supervisory Policy Manuals)
• Strong communication and organizational skills; analytical thinking; attention for details; flexible; self-driven and able to work independently
• Strong understanding of information security controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (both oral & written skills)
