Responsibilities:

• To handle, assist and/or coordinate the handling of litigation or other legal proceedings; knowledge in money lender action 83A is an advantage
• Handle day-to-day legal duties on daily operations
• Coordinate with the solicitors and provide legal advice in connection with major business initiatives and transactions
• Review policies and procedures to address the relevant legislation and regulation changes
• Prepare the monthly litigation reports
• Participate and assist in ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• University degree holder in Law or related disciplines
• Independent, reliable with high integrity and strong sense of responsibility and commercial sense
• 1-2 years of relevant experience gained from financial institution is an advantage
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in banking / consumer finance industry is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and Chinese word processing
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• University fresh graduate of legal studies will also be considered
