Job Description
Reporting to Tead Head of Communication and Public Relation, you are expected
- To develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns for the retail bank, including segments, products, services and channels
- To support and execute Group corporate activities, including events, ESG and/or CSR initiatives as necessary
- To provide communications & PR support to for Group subsidiaries as necessary
- To manage and ensure responsible and effective use of allocated resources and budgets
- To support implementation of the Group’s crisis communications and reputation risk management efforts
- To manage and coach team of direct reports
- To work closely with product teams to plan, develop, organise and drive effective and quality marketing communications campaigns for RBD’s products, services and channels, including helping to formulate and articulate campaign positioning and key messages, and leveraging the full breadth of marketing communications mix, including but not limited to ATL and BTL promotions, PR promotions, digital / social media marketing, POP displays, events and sponsorships, etc.
- To manage performance / liaise with agencies and external parties on creative development, media placement and production for branding and marketing campaigns
- To maximise and manage media exposure for the Group, and to maintain close media relationships (reporters and sales) to optimise media placements / negotiations
- To ensure compliance with the Group’s corporate ID guidelines
- To support and execute Group CPR needs as necessary, including PR support for CBD and DSB China, corporate events, ESG and/or CSR activities, etc
- To support coordination of the Group’s crisis communications efforts
- To ensure all assigned marketing communications initiatives and projects are executed within allocated resources and budgets
- To manage and guide direct report(s) in the timely and quality execution of marketing and communications programmes and initiatives
- Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, advertising and/or PR*
- Knowledge and experience in digital / social media marketing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and planning skills
- Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight schedule
- Strong team player and good people skills for managing multiple stakeholders and for motivating and guiding team members.
