Our client is an insurance brokerage firm and they are now looking for Senior Compliance Counsel/ Manager to join them.

• Report to Head of Legal & Compliance directly
• Analyze and monitor business systems and processes 
• Supervise sub-ordinate to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards
• Develop and implement an Annual Compliance Plan related to MPF/ Insurance/ AML issues
• Plan risk management strategies and design control systems to avoid cases of violation of internal business policies such as on new products launch, sales practice, marketing events
• Develop and implement Complaints processes as appropriate
• Design and conduct regular Compliance training programmes for staff
• Frequently liaise with the Insurance Authority of Hong Kong and any other regulators 
• Design, manage and execute new license applications for company

• Degree holder in law, business administration or other relevant field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a compliance officer, compliance manager or similar position
• Experienced in regulatory compliance and focus on insurance compliance as well
• Strong knowledge of life insurance/ general insurance/ MPF's processes and regulations
• Experienced in liaise with regulatory bodies such as IA, MPFA, PD(P)O
• Strong leadership and hands on personality is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Excellent command of English and Chinese (Both Cantonese & Mandarin)
