Job Description
- Degree holder
- Good PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel, and experience in VBA and Bloomberg
- Pursuing CFA, CAIA, CIIA or other investment-related professional qualification
- Over 2 years of experience in investment product development and/or due diligence role (conventional/alternative fund and fixed income products in particular)
- Over 2 years of experience in investor suitability assessment, pre-trade client trade order processing and/or post-trade client servicing with the flexibility of handing large trade volume backed by minimal support in a time-sensitive environment
- Familiar with the latest regulatory requirements of Hong Kong
- Duly licensed to carry on at least Type 1 and 4 regulated activities, being licensed to carry on Type 9 regulated activity
- Experience in handling high net-worth individuals
- Experience in client investment advisory including alternative investment product advisory
- Conduct analysis on market trends and competitive dynamics to understand investor requirements and how they impact the Company’s product offering
- Provide subject-matter-expert inputs to define and maintain the framework and procedure for product due diligence, onboarding and dissemination of related information, and update the master product inventory book for product development and launch
- Participate in meetings with both external and internal stakeholders for sourcing products and develop key messages to differentiate the Company’s products
- Coordinate teams to establish agreement on marketing approach, sales strategy and investor requirements
- Identify potential new clients and develop existing clients to further increase targeted product penetration within AUM
- Create
- Create and update marketing materials, portfolio performance update and portfolio proposals in active marketing and product positioning activity for client meetings, conferences.
- Conduct training for relationship managers and bankers for newly added products and/or re-visiting interesting product ideas within the master product inventory book
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and in the implementation of the Company’s policies and procedures for product risk assessment
- Provide exceptional customer service with emphasis on trade order origination, investor suitability assessment, trade order processing and account maintenance
- Monitor key product updates in relation to the internal product risk rating
- Study product related documents and work closely with Risk Team in performing product due diligence
- Keep abreast of product-related regulations as implemented/updated by the SFC and the HKMA
- Maintain the accuracy of customer database and trade orderbook
- Coordinate closely with Execution as well as Operations Teams to ensure smooth transaction flow
- Coordinate closely with Compliance Team to facilitate post-trade checking of all trade orders
- Conduct on-going monitoring of product status and coordinate with local and global Operations Teams
- Deliver regular/ad-hoc reports and analysis for management business planning
