Our client is currently looking for a Deputy Head to supervise their settlement team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in settlements & clearing, confirmation and payment related operations.

Description

• Supervise all Confirmations, Settlements, Clearing and Payment operations.
• Ensure allocation of work is appropriate, will lead strategy accordingly to ensure service and quality standards are
• Applies experience and technical knowledge to make recommendations to improve
• Handle new treasury system projects and regulatory project
• Ensuring business is concluded with complete capture, recording and settlement of all required trades by end of day
• Monitoring work in progress/daily transaction volume via various daily/weekly/monthly management information and control reports and providing direction and follow-ups

Profile

• At least 10 years' of relevant experience in banking - settlements & clearing, confirmation and payment related operations
• Knowledge of Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX and MM products
• Sound appreciation of the risks inherent in operations, e.g., settlement/clearing risk, foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk and payment risk
• Strong management skills which include diplomacy and sound human relations skills required for the management
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Experience in driving process, operational and organizational change is an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communications, interpersonal and people management skills
