Our client, a leading international bank, is looking for a Deputy Head to join their Credit team to cope with the Retail Banking business expansion.

Job Description:

• Responsible for credit approval under delegation and perform credit quality control function and
• Perform credit review and monitoring to ensure appropriate policies are updated to reflect the most current process and legislation.
• Support revision of Lending Products Manual and provide comment from credit perspective on new products.
• Liaise and respond to HKMA on credit related matters.
• Lead and manage a sizable team providing necessary coaching for staff development and to ensure departmental target are met.
• Ensure department is compliant with the necessary internal and external policies.
• Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned by Head of Credit Approval Department and Executive Committee.

Job Requirements:

• University graduate with major in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of banking experience in credit review, analysis approval and supervisory experience.
• Solid knowledge in various lending products, financial analysis, banking regulations and market practice.
• Self-motivated, independent with an analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills with experience in working with senior management.
• Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin
