Job Description
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide processing support and checker duty primary to Deposit Section; responsible to manage the A/C Administration & Servicing, as well as Counter’s internal non-cash operations and clearing
- Perform UAT and related tasks of project ISO 20022 and other projects assigned as needed
- Perform the duties on Time Deposits (including structured deposits) transactions, Batch Cheques and all related processing in Deposits Section
- Supervise proper running and preparation of HKMA related reports and monitor structured deposits processed in compliance with the Deposit Protection Rules
- Backup the duties on processing customer account administration tasks including opening/closing accounts, maintaining up-to-date customer information in various systems
- Assist to operate HKICL clearing items (DDA, Autopay, etc.) and the checking of inward clearing cheques for clearing and cheque honor
Requirements:
- Matriculate with minimum 8 years’ banking experience and at least 2 years in supervisory level, Degree holder with less experience will also be considered
- Good knowledge in deposit accounts activity compliance checking against anti-money laundering or anti-terrorism
- Fluent spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
- Conversant with MS Office
