Fixed Income Execution Trader (Hedge Fund) Basic HK$50K + Bonus

Our client is a large Hedge Fund in Asia who is seeking a high caliber Fixed Income Execution Trader to join their expanding team:

Job Duties:

• Execute fixed income, equities, FX and derivatives (equity swap and CDS) trades in Asia, Europe and US markets for actively managed funds and assist in post investment management.
• Provide fixed income portfolio from credit analysis and marketing perspective
• Assist on FI portfolio administration works, maintain earning, valuation and other financial models
• Provide ideas on the China/Asian/Global credit markets, macro credit issues, publish timely reports with actionable investment & trading ideas
• Identify any risk linked to market/economic/political issues, escalate and advise on relevant measures
• Work closely with operations team to ensure smooth processing of routine dealing functions such as redemption/subscription flow handling, balance between accounts, etc.
• Work with a team to work smoothly with counter parties (such as brokers, Prime Brokers and Fund Administrator)

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Finance or Economics (CFA or FRM qualification is an advantage)
• 5 years related experience in fixed income investment
• Familiar with Bloomberg
• Prefer strong Excel and VBA skills, C++
• Attention to detail
• High integrity and professional ethics
• Excellent interpersonal, coordination, analytical and organization skills
• Energetic, smart, independent
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
