- Reviewing credit facility proposals for corporate clients; perform credit assessments, and comply with established/ approved credit risk policies, guidelines and procedures, and relevant laws and banking regulations
- Provide analysis and assess the risk of the borrowers, proposed credit structures, security/collateral, and exposure levels, and the adherence to established policies, guidelines and credit procedures.
- Perform activities within the approved credit risk strategy/risk appetite parameters
- Ensure adherence to group level risk policies and be aware of regulatory changes pertaining to credit risk
- Work closely with the front office to support and advise credit proposal formulation.
skills & experiences required
- Bachelor degree or above
- At least 5-10 years of experience in corporate banking credit risk/credit analysis/credit approving functions
- Strong understanding on credit risk concepts as well as corporate banking products
- Quantitative and numerical analysis skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Detailed minded with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
