Our client, a growing regional corporate bank, is looking for an AVP/VP for the treasury operation team to support for their global markets and corporate banking business.

Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision on day-to-day settlement and operational support to Global markets and corporate banking transactions of Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Capital Market, Derivatives and new products launched by Global Markets
• Monitor and Investigate the hits in FMF, the AML alert system
• Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports submit to Finance HK, local and Head Office management, e.g. FiRE, monthly statistics report etc.
• OTC Trade Reporting to HKMA on daily basis and investigate any unlinked transactions from counterparties
• Manage the daily intra-day fund flow thru RTGS system plus FX Margin Trading
• Handle enquiries and liaise with counterparties, Front Office and Head Office counterparts for settlement issues related to Treasury transactions
• Process optimization for operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Ad Hoc Project or Job Assigned by People Leader

Requirements:

• University education in business administration, banking or finance-related discipline
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Treasury operations sector, of which at least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Hands-on experience with local and overseas stocks settlement is preferred
• Knowledge about the related market infrastructure, industry norms, central clearing & risk mitigation regime, clearing and settlement mechanism on both local and international depository platforms, default penalties, common tax rules, usage of ISDA/CSA/GMRA, collateral management, etc
• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure arisen from workload and time constraints
• Knowledge of SWIFT, eMBT/eCMT UT usage is a must
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese
