Main Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate new product approval policy are in place and updated to govern the new product approval process to meet regulatory requirement and risk management needs.
•  
• Work closely with product owners and various stakeholder units to ensure that the inherent risks of the new product have been appropriately identified, assessed and monitored.
•  
• Provide advice on the approval process for various new products.
•  
• Maintain related new product approval P&Ps.
•  
• Identify issues related to the new product approval process.
•  
• Arrange new product approval meeting for approving new products.
•  
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on product risks to related risk committees

Requirements

• Degree holder in risk management or business administration.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in risk management
• Understand regulatory requirement for risk management of various major risks in product perspective, particularly wealth management products, treasury products and cross border collaborative products.
• Have the aptitude and patience to learn new risk management tools and implement risk management framework and process.
• Have comprehensive knowledge in products of various banking units including corporate/commercial banking, consumer banking and private banking.
• Strong interpersonal skills and written communications.
