An exciting and unique opportunity has opened up in our IPO Support team. We are hiring an Officer to join us. This vacancy will be based in the Megabox office in Hong Kong.  

Computershare is a pioneer of registry services and a preferred partner of issuers for key listing reforms and new initiatives, we have delivered hundreds of IPOs. As part of the IPO Support team, you will work closely with IPO Management and other operations teams to support our clients throughout the whole listing process.

A role you will love

As an Officer, you will be reporting to the Team Leader and will be responsible for all things related to an IPO project, fulfilling various requirements such as prepare reports, perform calculations and reconciliations for IPO transaction and related items. You are required to ensure all the electronic and physical shareholder data are well uploaded and captured into the system. You will also be interacting with internal departments in support to IPO projects.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:  

  •          Depending on demand, you might be required to work overnight for data uploading and processing to meet the tight timeline
  •          Generate multiple reports from system requested by clients and regulatory parties.
  •          Implement and perform UATs from time to time.
  •          Carry out any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Team leader.

What will you bring to the role?   

You will bring an eagerness to learn, with a proactiveness to ask questions and carve out a career for themselves in IPO. You will have excellent communication skills as there will be interactions across teams.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  •          A Degree holder in any discipline
  •          It would be an advantage to have a background, knowledge or strong interest in the HK stock market
  •          Self-motivated, well-organised and detail-minded
  •          Proactive, can work independently under pressure
  •          Proficient in MS Office applications (Word and Excel) and word processing
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
