Job Description
Job descriptionReporting to Manager, Group Finance, the Specialist will spend majority of their time preparing and provide follow-up support for new business quotations and ensure proposal is issued within the targeted turnaround time. It is also expected for the Specialist to communicate, handle and coordinate as needed on general enquiries related to quotations and prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and work on ad-hoc assignments as required.

- Good Group Insurance and / or Group Underwriting knowledge
- Good team player
- Able to work under pressure and independently
- University / College graduate with minimum 3 years working experience, preferably in group / insurance
- Prepare group new business quotation and ensure proposal is issued within the turnaround time
- Review and follow up relevant documents with stakeholders for timely issue of quote for assigned cases
- Handle general enquiry received
- Make underwriting suggestion for assigned cases
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and handle ad-hoc projects and assignment as required
- Coordinate with the relevant parties for ad-hoc tasks as needed
