Our client, an investment bank is looking for Trade Floor Support Manager

Daily duties include

1)      Early morning Trading System checks

2)      Support Daily Trading operations for various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities and F&O desk

3)      Manage Trader queries during Trading hours

4)      Daily BAU work on Trader requests

5)      Follow up with L2 and L3 team on production issues and queries

6)      Follow up with Development team on production rollouts

7)      Rollout software upgrades.

8)      The person should be able to understand & work with other teams to setup various Trading Systems used by IE trading desk

9)      Monitor Capacity and Performance of Trading Systems

10)   Act as an interface between Traders and Development team

11)   Incident Management

Job skills required:

• Minimum 5 years proficiency, support and good experience in Trading System (OMS/EMS) applications like Fidessa, GL OMS, Bloomberg OMS or any other in-house OMS
• Above 5 years of experience in supporting Traders and preferably in Institutional Equities
• Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program Trading environment
• Good knowledge of exchange rules of major Asian markets like

(Hong Kong, China CONNECT, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, India, Indonesia)

• Exposure in Trading Systems monitoring tools like KIBANA, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic search, ITRS, etc
• Exposure in Credit Risk Management Systems
• Exposure in Change & Incident Management tools like ServiceNOW
• Must be self-starter and be able to work independently
• Willing to undertake other Trade Support functions on-demand
• Lead a team of 3 in Trading Floor
• Ready to work in Trading floor (high pressure environment)
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with Vendors and Traders

Technology skills:

• Knowledge in ORACLE (user level), SQL, Store Procedures.
• Knowledge in Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, Perl.
• Basic Knowledge in FIX

• Bachelor or above degree of finance or related fields
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar financial domain
• Team player, good personality and motivation
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage
• Awareness of SRE concepts is an added advantage
