This leading trade finance platform is looking for an Operational Risk Specialist experienced in cross-border trade finance to support the team due to great success in their business last year. You will be joining a team of 5, directly reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, with great exposure and great remuneration package provided.

job scope.
As the Operational Risk Specialist in a leading Trade Finance Platform, your key responsibility will be to:

• Implement the risk control mechanisms (e.g KRIs) and risk monitoring requirements on the trade finance business
• Review policies & procedures, update the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) to ensure the operation quality and compliant to internal policies & regulatory request
• End to end review of the credit operation process and provide insights to overall process to ensure efficiency and timely execution
• Ensure the accuracy of customers’ credit limit setup and completeness of financing documents according to SOP
• Develop a loan monitoring framework to observe key risk indicators and reporting scheme for management team for various purpose
• Compile monthly operational risk report for the risk management committee
• Periodically review policies, SOPs, procedures and online product functions that may cause operational risk and propose improvement plans

requirements.

• Degree holder with at least 5 years of work experience of cross-border trade finance in financial institutions or FinTech sector
• Conscientious and careful, detail-oriented with strong risk awareness
• Able at learn quickly and adapt to multi-cultural environment, good spirit of teamwork
• Skillful use of office software e.g. Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
