Job Description
Our client is an innovative global payment platform, helping businesses and people prosper by making the movement of money around the world faster, easier, safer and cheaper. Since 2004, the client has been setting a new standard for the foreign exchange market and have transferred more than $70bn to date. They currently have 650 specialists span across 8 global offices.
Their Payment Team is primarily responsible for day-to-day processing of all outbound payments through a variety of banking partners, back office systems, and service providers. They are looking for a Payment Associate to support their operation.
Responsibilities:
- Working Australian AEST hours on a rotating roster and interacting daily with front office teams and subordinates
- Allocating client monies from banking counterparties
- Processing onward payments of client funds
- Working with other teams to ensure a smooth and accurate trade to payment process
- Compile scheduled and ad-hoc reporting needs such as volume, revenue and P/L calculation
- Creating and maintaining policy resource guidelines
- Client services and correspondence with our various counterparties
Requirements:
- Degree educated, ideally in a Finance/ Business related subject
- Strong arithmetic, analytical skill and working knowledge of excel spreadsheets
- Excellent accuracy, strong attention to detail and ability to process payment instruction in a timely manner
- Good team work, communication skills and the ability to work in a time sensitive environment
- Experience in Finance/Banking/ Customer Service industries, and some knowledge of international payment systems (CHAPS, BACS, SWIFT etc) is an advantage
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
