Description
- Ensure smooth operations of Trade bookings, matching, and settlements, Corporate actions processing, Securities lending, Collateral management, Position and cash reconciliations, Broker onboarding and account opening, Financing and portfolio valuations
- Implement appropriate risk and controls throughout the trade life cycle and corresponding workflows in order to mitigate operational risk
- Work closely with external counterparties and service providers (including but not limited to Prime Brokers, Fund administrator, ISDA counterparties, execution brokers) to build strong partnerships and to manage their performance
- Support new business and new product development
- Monitor post-trade risk and compliance requirements
- Prepare portfolio attribution and PnL reports
- Maintain the firm's operations manual
- Work with finance team on portfolio valuations, audit, and other-related activities
Profile
- 5 to 10 years of relevant hedge fund operations experience
- Ability to pick up technical skills and product knowledge quickly
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong project management skills
- Creative problem solver with a strong ability to multi-task
- High level of risk awareness
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS office tools (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint); Knowledge of VBA is a plus
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
