Job Description

Job Purpose
  • To enhance credit risk governance structure and framework, develop and maintain credit risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as the Bank’s risk appetite.
  • Enhance the Bank's credit risk governance structure, framework and process in compliance with external regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Contribute to organise the Credit Committee Policy Meetings by collaboration with various internal parties and arrangement of meeting materials to ensure smooth running of the committee meetings.
  • Support various key credit risk projects, e.g. consolidated supervision on credit risk issues, connected lending procedures, revamping of classification tools and guidelines, etc.
  • Cooperate with relevant risk owners to review and enhance the credit risk sections of the Risk Appetite Statement/ Framework (RAS/RAF) in line with business strategy.
  • Coordinate and provide support in the preparation of risk disclosure information of the Bank.
  • To facilitate the audit field works and on-site examinations of Internal Audit Group, auditors and/or regulators.
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Finance, Business, e-Commerce / e-Banking, Risk Management or related disciplines.
  • 6-8 years’ solid experience in risk management, product development or governance in bank.
  • Professional Qualification of Certified Credit Risk Management Professional (Credit Portfolio Management) (CCRP(CPM)) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various banking products including retail, corporate and investment products is an advantage.
  • Familiar with relevant HKMA Supervisory Policy Manual and Banking Ordinance.
  • Keep abreast of the Bank’s systems/ procedures and market practices.
  • Self-motivated, independent, strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered for Senior Manager.
