Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the data analysis and data science team to analyze business and customer behavior based on business needs, with the aim to discover customer potentials and derive business value including cross-selling opportunities
  • Lead the planning of customer and business analysis to derive insights for facilitating management decision, capturing business opportunities, and enhancing customer experience, focusing on the bank’s strategic segment strategies 
  • Keep abreast of the development trend of market technology and customer behavior change to promote innovation, effectively use advanced analytics and intelligent technologies to promote the implementation of bank innovation and development
  • Assist the Head of Customer Intelligence to promote the overall data strategy development, identify and establish strategic alliances, and lead professional data teams to improve business management effectiveness
  • Plan, promote and innovate various types of data systems and analysis models, timely monitor customer behavior changes to provide predictive or event-based customer relationship management strategies, and seize business opportunities to assist in achieving business growth
  • Apply data mining strategy and technology to facilitate the establishment of suitable customer  segmentation models and conduct customer thematic analysis for driving business growth and segment management
  • Provide high quality management information, regular and ad-hoc customer, product and channel analysis reports to identify potential customer group and facilitate relevant units to formulate corresponding customer relationship management, product development and marketing strategies
  • Manage various customer analysis models, perform model monitoring and evaluation, and formulate strategies to enhance model effectiveness and prediction results
  • Coordination and collaboration with other business units
  • Maintain close communication and collaboration with relevant marketing units to ensure the customer marketing decisions are properly implemented
  • Assess the performance of subordinates through measurable indicators and clear responsibilities setup, provide timely feedback appropriate guidance, and take adjustment measures when needed
  • Supervise the subordinates on tasks, and provide appropriate support, assistance and encouragement
  • Ensure the relevant rules and regulations, policies and procedures are followed; identify and control the potential or existing risks, report to superiors and related units, and make rectification measures and follow up
  • Assist the Division Head on performance evaluation and propose appropriate improvements suggestions
  • Report timely to superiors on data analysis application strategy, policy and program's latest development and trend, create a risk awareness culture and monitor overall asset quality, ensuring the overall service quality of the unit is at an acceptable level
  • Ensuring all work is performed within the predefined risk level and meets the relevant legal and compliance requirements
Requirements:
  • Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Statistics or related discipline
  • At least 10-15 years working experience in personal banking, product management, customer management, data strategy, data analytics, or MIS area, 6 years of which at managerial level
  • Proven track record and sound knowledge in business development, customer segmentation, customer analytics and marketing program development
  • Familiar with banking products and operations / service enhancement and business transformation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and written including Putonghua
  • Experience in various statistical analysis, programming, modelling, and visualization tools
  • Familiar with Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
