Business Function
Manager, Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the brand in an increasingly competitive financial service industry. Working closely with all units within the Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, branding and research to differentiate – and elevate – our brand from the rest of the competition.

Responsibilities

• Take the ownership to source the relevant events and organization activities to strengthen industry profile.
• Lead the re-branding campaign and create the relevant content to make it a success.
• Conceptualise and execute PR and content marketing strategies that underline an integrated approach to communications
• Provide strategic counsel on media communications and marketing content so as to positively predispose our stakeholders (investors, customers, employees etc).
• In crisis situations, provide strategic advice, as well as take the lead on issues mitigation
• Cultivate relationships with business communities and associations, and build rapport with key media and publishers
• Extend support to senior management in media interview, CEO communications and other forms of communication
• Spearhead the initiative to pitch for and win more awards and accolades (Fintech, Financial Service, Technology, etc.)
• Proactively profile and amplify key stories, initiatives and award wins through earned, owned and paid media
• Assist to build up more success stories and make it appealing to the target audience and partners.

Requirements

• Degree from a recognised university
• Preferably with more than 8 years of experience in a PR, communications or journalism role
• Strong communication skills, proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese
• Strong news and commercial sense
• Good working knowledge of startup, financial service and economics
• Comfortable with content marketing and social media Comfortable with data-driven operation model, looking at data and dashboards, drawing insights, developing experimentations and actions from data analytics
• Able to think out-of-the-box
• Ability to build strong relationships with media and internal clients
