Commercial Banking – Global Trade and Receivables Finance
Hang Seng’s Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.
For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as GTRF Products Manager.
Principal responsibilities
Within the line of reporting under GTRF Product Management, the role holder is responsible for leading and driving delivery and development of new products and propositions programs, the ongoing management of existing on-shelf products, product risk management, and structuring of tailored solutions
- Manage and grow existing business, drive the development of new products / propositions to support the achievement of revenue growth targets;
- Formulate and launch trade product, service and marketing initiatives that enhance business revenue, customer value and raise brand awareness;
- Ongoing product management and risk management and ensure procedures/guidelines are adhered to;
- Structure bespoke trade solutions and work closely with colleagues across the bank, including Trade Sales, Services and Client Implementation team, to provide support on structured deals and align with business objectives;
- Provide support to front-line Business Development Managers to ensure a high quality customer experience;
- Stay on top of market trends/ competitors' activities and make recommendations to fill up product / service gaps and improve competitive strengths.
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related subject areas;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project, proposition management or commercial lending, preferably in trade finance;
- Knowledge in trade-finance is an advantage;
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes;
- Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and analytical abilities;
- Attention to details and the ability to use judgmental skills to identify and resolve issues with proposed solutions to relevant stakeholders;
- Able to work independently and can work under time pressure;
- Being adaptive to new market trends and able to appreciate the application of technology
- Proficient in English and Chinese, spoken and written
Candidates with less experiences will be considered as Assistant GTRF Products Manager.
