My client is a well-known and stable Foreign Bank branch in Hong Kong, providing a wide range of services including corporate, wholesale and investment banking for the Asia region. Given their sizeable and reputable presence in the region, they are now looking to hire a new Associate/VP, Credit Analyst professional to join the Project Finance team, focusing on the renewable energy sector. This is a newly created headcount. 

Job Requirements:

• Work in a team of less than five, reporting directly to the Asia Head of Project Finance
• Be an account manager and oversee/maintain key clientele in the renewable energy sector, across the region including clients within Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc.
• Actively take part in execution and structured finance transactions
• Evaluate and take part in credit analysis and preparing credit applications for new prospects and business opportunities
• Responsible of preparing pitches, financial modelling and conducting assessments of clients' credit ability and financial strength
• Assist with ad-hoc projects related to project finance • Perform excellent stakeholder management with new and existing clients

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Economics / Finance, or related
• Native level communication skills in English, fluency in Mandarin
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in credit analysis / credit risk is a must
• Experience in structured lending and project finance within renewable energy field is a plus
