Who are we looking for 

We would like to look for a candidate who has Solid product development experience in wealth management / investment products; experience in multiple investment products experience would be a plus.

Responsibilites

  • Develop and drive business growth strategies and activities for Mox’s investment products, and deliver sustainable growth in active customer base and portfolio
  • Negotiate key partnerships and build a robust fee income line. Make decisions on issues/activities having critical impact/influence on company revenues, capital, or business operations
  • Assess the Bank’s wealth management product universe capabilities to meet market needs and business objectives and to develop product solutions
  • Manage cross functional teams within Mox bank including management of people, budget and planning as well as manage a matrixed team across technology, marketing, risk, finance, data and decision management, operations
  • Ensure solid partnerships and cross selling opportunities across range of products such as banking products, foreign exchange, credit, and insurance to deliver comprehensive services and solutions for clients
  • Work with Tribe Tech Lead towards building world class Investment journeys with an ability to handle delivery timelines and nurturing product and engineering talent
  • Develop and maintain the portfolio construction methodology framework and ensure the operation of such is managed and ran effectively.
  • Act a Secretary and Deputy Chairperson for Wealth Management Forum
  • Qualify as an SFC Responsible Officer (RO) and a HKMA Executive Officer (EO) to supervise Types 1 and 4 regulated activities within the bank and manage risks associated with the business
  • Manage and supervise daily operations, review and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external policies & regulations
  • Monitor local and overseas regulations closely and ensure that operational processes have the appropriate controls in place to satisfy compliance, regulation and internal policy requirements.
  • Manage third party relationships and governance requirements and work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and expectation

Requirements

  • Visionary leader with background in Investments, business development, product development and marketing with 10 - 12 years of progressively senior level work in the Investments industry
  • Experience in managing P&L ( Preference of Digital Investments P&L ownership), product and pricing strategy across wealth management products. Experience in building a digital wealth management product platform is a plus
  • Experience in engaging with Risk teams, Compliance and the regulators on product development, risk and governance matters
  • Strong business acumen to drive product development and portfolio growth
  • Current or previous holder of SFC RO license or HKMA EO for Type 1 and 4 regulated activities;  Type 9 regulated activities is a plus
  • Sound knowledge of SFO, regulations and guidelines of relevant regulatory authorities (e.g., HKMA) and risk management
  • Creative, out- of- the- box thinker with ability to communicate and engage team members and partners, peers and senior management in business concepts and strategies
  • Effectively collaborate in a start-up environment, and clearly understand and deliver on the responsibility to share knowledge and leverage capabilities globally.
  • Mature, flexible, committed, detail-minded and a good team player
